After three sweltering days of work, everything is up and ready in the triangle space. (A big thanks to DB, Matt, David R, Sean, Hung and Hideki for the manual labour!)
This is the final major project of Joanna Zhou, graduating student in BA Graphic Design for Communication at Chelsea College of Art and Design. It consists of two briefs; one self-directed and one live, both revolving around japanese culture and graphics.
Gashapon Icons
An investigation into the phenomena of culture, taste and collection. Findings will be presented using a functional capsule vending machine, known as 'gashapon' machines in Japan.
Momiji Dolls Designing a set of japanese street fashion dolls for Momiji. Will also be creating the packaging, illustrations, stickers and branding to accompany the series.
